Max Hong leads The Boston Consulting Group’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice on the US West Coast.

Max has two decades of experience advising leading technology companies around the world on their most important issues. His engagements have included optimizing ROI on promotions, developing and implementing promotion-effectiveness models, and creating national pricing strategies.

Over the course of his career, Max has helped numerous companies create multiyear corporate strategies, revenue acceleration plans, and M&A roadmaps. He has also worked with clients to develop new business models, customer acquisition programs, mobile strategies, and cost reduction initiatives.

Before joining BCG in 2014, Max was previously general manager of the LED systems global business unit at Philips Lighting. He also worked in the LED industry, most recently as executive vice president of sales and marketing at Bridgelux.
