Alenka Grealish manages The Boston Consulting Group’s global transaction-banking segment. She also manages the firm's global payments model and coauthors the Global Payments report. Alenka is a core member of BCG's Financial Institutions practice, to which she brings over two decades of banking experience.

Alenka has worked extensively with financial institutions and has developed deep expertise in transaction banking, payments, and trade finance. In her recent work, Alenka analyzed the shifting needs of treasurers and the digitization of the financial supply chain, including the drivers of migration from paper to electronic. She specializes in developing growth strategies, facilitating digitization, and benchmarking digital channels.

Prior to rejoining BCG in 2008, Alenka was the head of the banking practice at Celent. She published numerous studies, advised more than 45 clients, and was a frequent speaker at leading industry conferences. Alenka has been widely quoted in The American Banker and other financial services publications. She began her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as an associate economist.
