Massimiliano Merlini is a core member of the Technology Advantage and Financial Institutions practices at The Boston Consulting Group. He has more than 15 years consulting experience, and has led engagements across Europe and the Middle East, on strategy and operations topics with financial institutions, energy companies, and automotive and other industrial sector clients.

Massimiliano has functional experience in IT--including strategy, sourcing (for both ADM and FM), and infrastructure—as well as digital transformation and enablement, mergers and acquisitions and post-merger management, operations optimization and lean, cost reduction programs, the management of complex outsourcing and offshoring programs, and the reorganization of central, business, and support functions.

Prior to joining the firm, Massimiliano worked for over ten years at McKinsey and Company and before that for about 4 years in PwC Consulting (acquired in 2002 by IBM).
