Ludger Kübel-Sorger is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Knowledge practice and served as Global Leader of the Knowledge Management team for eight years. He leads BCG Omnia and the German and Austrian Financial Institutions practices.
Since joining BCG in 1993, Ludger’s client work has focused mainly on international financial institutions. He has acquired deep experience in product development, innovation, and marketing in asset management.
Ludger's special interests lie in knowledge-intensive banking sectors such as capital markets, asset management, wealth management, sales, marketing, and innovation. Prior to joining BCG, Ludger worked for the German investment bank and securities company The B. Metzler seel. Sohn & Co. KGaA.
Maybe the real threat to Asset Managers is not the COVID-19 crisis. It may rather be a catalyst that exposes existing deficits and amplifies changes in customer behavior. Saving on investments now to restore earnings may put German Asset Managers behind international peers for the years ahead.
