Tips to write a good CV

  • Make sure the layout of your CV is clear: Try to confine your CV to one to two pages, and use a reasonable font size.
  • Focus on the important points: Your education, work experience, outside interests and special achievements. As you are still studying, your education is your greatest strength and should come first on your resume.
  • Describe in details your achievements and situations in which you consider you have performed outstandingly in a certain field. These might be club or organization leadership, strong academic performance, publications, or winning a sports tournament.
  • Be as specific as possible: Include dates, and account for gaps in time. Make sure you spell out your strengths, skills and interests in your CV. Don't undersell yourself, but at the same time be honest about your achievements. All we know about you at the screening stage is what is on your CV. Be sure to give us enough information.

If you cannot join the BCG Strategy Weekend…
