Sergei Perapechka joined The Boston Consulting Group in November 2003. He is a core member of the firm's Public Sector and Industrial Goods practices, and he is a topic expert in strategy and organizational restructuring, as well as in infrastructure in Europe, the Middle East, Russia, and Asia. Sergei works largely with governmental institutions in the CIS region.
Sergei’s client work at BCG has reflected his interest and expertise in organizational restructuring in financial institutions. He has led the business transformation of one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in Asia and the development of a concept and implementation plan for creating a financial center in Central Asia. He has also conducted the diagnostics and developed a new regulatory model for passenger transportation in the largest region of Russia. His work also has included a project evaluating the attractiveness of investing in the transport infrastructure for a large Russian city.
Before joining BCG, Sergei worked for several financial institutions in Belarus. He contributed to the BCG report Digital Government: Turning the Rhetoric into Reality. Sergei is fluent in English, French, and Ukrainian, in addition to his native Russian.
