Erik Surtevall is a core member of the Health Care and Principal Investors & Private Equity practices at Boston Consulting Group. Erik serves as the regional leader for BCG’s work in medical technologies (MedTech) in Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa.

Erik works with a broad range of clients in the health care industry, including companies in medical equipment and devices, in vitro diagnostics, and life science tools. His work is focused on growth strategy, innovation, operational improvement programs, and M&A. Erik also advises private equity clients on buy-side, sell-side, and portfolio company optimizations.

Since joining BCG in 2011, Erik has worked globally within his areas of expertise, including a year based in Boston.
