André Is a Transformative Ally

Platinion Senior UX/UI Designer, Paris

At BCG, Allies bring a sense of collaboration and excitement to their teams. They create an atmosphere of trust and support in which people can do their best work. André seeks a new perspective.

One of my first lessons at BCG was simply to speak up when you think differently about something. Being bold in this way is a requirement for creating innovative experiences for clients.

André

In André’s Words

A lot of designers don’t know how exceptional BCG can be for creative people. Early in BCG’s recruiting process, I was interviewed by many people, and it was totally worth it. After each interview, my passion for this company grew.

BCG has given me the opportunity to work with wonderful people. From the start of my time here, I brought my vision of the importance of user feedback for how we create a digital product. People here have great knowledge and awareness of those topics. After a few months, I joined BCG Platinion. Today I can talk to people who have the power to enhance the digital experience we provide for customers and to convince clients to change. There is no better company than BCG for having the opportunity to impact the future.

When I look back on what I have learned and what we have achieved in the past two years, I feel very proud and excited. I can’t wait for the next years!

Q: Why did you choose to work at BCG Platinion?

A: Working here gives me the opportunity to work with the best people and create disruptive experiences for us and our clients.

Q: How does BCG Platinion fit into BCG as a whole?

A: We bring an additional layer of credibility when BCG is tackling client IT issues. At Platinion, we start with the IT strategy, rethink users’ experience, and develop software products.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: User experience and user interface designers divide their work into three steps: understand, explore, and materialize. The exploring phase is the one I love the most. We imagine amazing concepts, and it’s the most challenging part.

Q: What are you most curious about?

A: I have a passion for architecture and how a building’s or house’s structure can optimize your day-to-day experience. It’s fascinating. It’s why I designed my own house.

Q: What are some of your favorite things to do outside of the office?

A: I love challenge, teamwork, pushing my limits, and playing mind games. I find all of this in video games. I have to say, I’m a geek.
