Mamta Is a Passionate Ally

Senior Researcher, ACC - Gurugram

At BCG, Allies bring a sense of collaboration and excitement to their teams. They create an atmosphere of trust and support in which people can do their best work. Mamta champions uncommon ideas.

The best thing a BCG mentor told me was not to be afraid to give up the good to go for the great.

Mamta

In Mamta’s Words

I come from a background in international business management, and BCG has provided me with ample opportunities to put my skills and knowledge to use on multiple fronts. With seven-plus years of being at BCG, I have had the experience of working in four different BCG offices around the world. Through this, I gained international exposure valuable for working with clients and case teams. I was motivated by mentors and stakeholders who have always helped me take action independently and handle cases with an enthusiastic team.

About Mamta

Mamta was born and brought up in the metropolis of New Delhi, though she has been a globetrotter ever since. She completed her undergraduate degree in economics (honors) from the Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University, and went on to pursue her master’s in international business and management from the Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom.

A: Develop the ability to think on your feet, and always be ready to take on new roles. It can be very exciting, and when you have the right attitude your opportunities can be tremendous.

Q: Why is BCG a good place for a woman to work?

A: It’s a great place for women to work because it offers flexibility and support to female employees. BCG does not have a glass-ceiling environment; it always encourages gender equality, and the people here make you feel special and valued.
