The Los Angeles office is located in the heart of the downtown financial district, within walking distance of some of the most important architectural landmarks in the United States, including MOCA, Disney, and the new Broad Museum—a hot spot of the area. Our new office is directly across the street from the Riordan Central Public Library. The office also offers fantastic views of the Santa Monica and San Gabriel Mountains and Los Angeles landmarks, such as the Hollywood sign, Griffith Observatory, and Dodger Stadium. In addition to being near retail shops and cafés, the office is a short walk to the Riordan Central Public Library, where California history murals (1928) can be seen side-by-side with more modern art and decorations by a variety of California artists.
The LA office has experienced significant growth since opening in 1982 by establishing deep relationships with a range of clients across many industries. We serve clients across sectors including technology, media & telecommunications, financial services, private equity, health care, energy, consumer goods, industrial goods, real estate, public sector and social impact sector. The nature of the work is diverse and includes strategy, business transformation, post-merger integration, and organizational development. The Los Angeles office has developed numerous innovative concepts, including a blueprint for how media companies can thrive in a world of consumer control, groundbreaking work on offshoring biopharma research and development, and a new way of capturing value through IT outsourcing.
The Los Angeles office is well connected with BCG's global network. We regularly team on projects with offices in Europe, Latin America, and Asia, as well as all of the other North American offices. In addition, our consulting staff has broad international experience; in fact, the majority of the senior staff has considerable professional experience outside of the US. The office also participates in exchange programs with other offices, hosting consultants from locations such as Mumbai, Cologne, Milan, Paris, Seoul, and Sydney. We've sent our own consultants to offices such as Amsterdam, Zurich, London, Stockholm, Kuala Lumpur, and Sydney.
Beyond business, the Los Angeles office maintains a commitment to creating a positive impact on the community by working with many nonprofit clients, including the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, LA Unified School District, and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Bid.

Together, the Los Angeles, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Seattle offices operate as a West Coast system, focusing on the market in the western US. By working together, we are able to offer our clients a rich pool of experience and expertise to address their issues. We cross-staff West Coast projects in order to give our staff a broader range of opportunities across a variety of different industries and practice areas on the West Coast. The offices also coordinate training and development around joint events, which gives staff from all four offices the chance to get to know each other and learn from each other.
