Since joining BCG in 2012, João has focused his client work on organization and strategy across an array of sectors, including banking, public sector, and oil and gas. Prior to joining BCG, João was the director of corporate and wholesale at ZON (a telco company in Portugal). He also was an associate principal at McKinsey & Company and a professor of Economics at the University of Chicago and at the Universidade Catolica Portuguesa in Lisbon.
