Our Office History

BCG in Calgary officially opened its doors in 2013 and has grown tremendously since then, as we continue to expand our footprint in the West.

Our Work

BCG in Calgary serves a variety of clients in Western Canada and supports our Canadian practice across a broad mix of Canadian and global companies in industries that include mining, energy, telecommunications and technology, consumer goods, retail, financial services, industrial goods, health care, and automotive.

We serve Canada's most important companies, which become Canada's most successful companies. Canada's clients represent 33% of the value of the Toronto Stock Exchange, and the annual returns of our North American clients are double that of the S&P 500.

BCG works collaboratively with our clients to solve their toughest problems and deliver incredible value, which is evident with approximately 90% of our work coming from repeat business.

Our People

Our Calgary team is a dedicated group of entrepreneurial, collaborative, and inquisitive leaders coming from a variety of backgrounds, countries, and programs. We are also supported by the global team of BCG experts.

Our Office Culture

Our office is a close-knit group that support each other in all we do. This is an environment that encourages openness and collaboration to further enhance our strong sense of community. Staff at all levels have the opportunity to shape the office culture and contribute to the development of our business.

Our team enjoys spending time together, especially during our annual ski trip, summer events, and social events throughout the year. We also operate as a tight Canadian system, regularly coming together with our colleagues in Montréal and Toronto.

Giving Back

In addition to the exciting and high-impact client work we do, we strive to be an integral part of the community of leaders who shape Canada's future. BCG in Canada has a long history of giving back to our community. We have played a pivotal role in shaping the strategies of numerous charities in Canada through pro bono work and board participation.

Our staff has the opportunity to support our national and global social impact initiatives as well as our local work. BCG in Calgary partners with the local United Way to support them in their strategic planning and initiatives. Additionally, BCGers support local charities through our board fellows programs, mentoring activities, and office wide volunteering.
