Helen Quirke joined Boston Consulting Group in 2013. She is a topic specialist in large capital projects, specifically in mining, and is a core member of both the Operations and Industrial Goods practices at BCG. Helen is also a leader of the BCG women’s initiative to improve diversity in the workplace.

Helen came to the firm after a successful career in sports management and earning her MBA at the University of Cambridge. At BCG, she has worked on many high-profile large capital projects for diversified miners, energy producers, and government business enterprises in Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, and Canada. In recent client cases, she has defined the operating model for a global gold miner, led the organizational redesign of a global auto manufacturer, and directed the transformation effort for the trading division of an integrated oil company, as well as running the integration team optimizing the business case for a multibillion-dollar mining project (including a digital transformation).

Helen has been admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
