Nate Beyor is part of the West Coast leadership team for the Health Care practice at Boston Consulting Group, and an expert on R&D and operations in health care. He leads BCG's Health Tech Initiative to engage tech natives in health care—from growth startups to large tech brands. He has shepherded teams toward product and startup launches in R&D, data monetization, supply chain, and patient engagement.

Nate’s work is focused on the interface between technology and biology, and is backed by operational rigor. He has spent his career exploring different avenues at this intersection, including microfluidics, biologics manufacturing, stem cell therapy development, and now digital health. Nate believes in the power of technology to change how we treat, heal, and live. He has led joint BCG-client teams to launch seven digital software solutions into the market,

Before joining the firm, Nate was Vice President of Corporate Development at Asterias Biotherapeutics, a cell therapy company, where he led development partnering and IP licensing as well as internal initiatives across finance and digital. Prior to that, he was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he was a leader in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Products Operations Practice. Nate also founded several startups in medtech and technology, where he gained experience in fundraising, lean product development, and first customer acquisition.
