Tom Rapp is a procurement expert at Boston Consulting Group and a core member of the firm’s Operations practice. He has deep procurement and cost transformation expertise across industries including health care, financial services, consumer, retail, and industrial goods. He advises clients on topics including procurement organization and operating model, category strategy and supplier negotiation, cost reduction and demand management, supplier diversity, and procurement post-merger integration.

Recently Tom has led programs on non-labor synergy planning for the integration of two large financial services companies, demand-driven cost reduction for a large health care company, and the PMI clean room and procurement synergy execution for two large health care companies.

Prior to receiving his MBA, Tom worked as a product support manager for his family business, Merchant Software Corp., a provider of point-of-sale and payments software.
