Tom Milon is a core member of the Operations, Consumer, and Industrial Goods practices at Boston Consulting Group. His focus is on Industry 4.0 technology and digital transformation. Tom is part of the team leading the deployment and commercialization of BCG’s Innovation Center for Operation (ICO) focused on Industry 4.0 in the US.
Among industrial goods clients, Tom has worked with clients in aerospace and defense. He has helped them with manufacturing network strategy, large PMI setup, digital and lean diagnostics, and transformation.
He also has expertise in designing digital value chain vision and transformation for consumer goods clients, along with peripheral functions of operations including manufacturing engineering, design for manufacturability, and quality optimization through right-sizing, footprint optimization, value engineering, and standardization.
Finally Tom oversees BCG’s ecosystem of academic and vendor Industry 4.0 partners in the US. He is committed to developing and implementing Industry 4.0 strategies and solutions for BCG’s clients.
Before joining the firm, Tom held various positions at AMCOR/ALCAN, including plant manager/site executive.
