Andy believes that more purposeful and values-driven organizations can both perform better and make the world a better place. He leads projects that help organizations uncover, define, and activate their organizational purpose.

Andy is a core member of BCG’s Public Sector Practice Area and his work focuses in three areas:

  • Clarity - articulating and activating Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Connection - bringing heart to engagement efforts, including recruitment campaigns and strategic communications during major transformations.
  • Innovation - supporting leaders to step out of the day-to-day to reimagine what is possible.

Since joining the firm in 2018, he has led more than 25 engagements in ten countries, including creating the strategy and blueprint to reimagine the experience at a top-20 US university; leading a high-growth government ministry to set new vision, mission, values, and behaviors; creating strategic communications during a number of large-scale government transformations; and leading a strategy engagement for an urban redevelopment project. He has also articulated and activated purpose for companies across various industries (transportation, government, technology, agriculture, and finance).

Prior to BCG BrightHouse, Andy spent a decade working in education, where he led teams at Teach For America and OneGoal to dramatically grow and scale operations while consistently achieving ambitious results. Andy began his career as a public sector consultant, working with more than a dozen clients in the UK and US on business strategy and performance management. He is a current board member at the Kindezi Schools, a charter school network serving 1200 students in Atlanta (past board chair 2017-2021).
