Sumit Banerjee is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice. He co-leads the AI work for the practice globally, is part of the TMT leadership team, and is the North America lead for digital infrastructure with private equity clients. He also leads BCG’s relationships with several telecommunications and cell tower companies.
Sumit has consulted across TMT industries for the past 20+ years, helping enterprises achieve high performance through corporate and growth strategy, M&A, new business, transformation, network and 5G, and cost takeout. He has helped companies across the economy use digital technologies, AI, and advanced analytics to unlock new sources of economic value.
Prior to joining BCG, Sumit was a managing director and global partner with Accenture and acted as the global lead for Telecom Strategy and TMT Analytics Strategy. He has presented at various conferences and published numerous articles on AI, 5G/networks, digital, big data, and smart homes. He has multiple patents pending on network and analytics.
