Andreas Reinhardt is an expert consultant with Boston Consulting Group's Center for Climate & Sustainability and a core member of the Corporate Finance & Strategy practice. He is an expert on climate change, greenhouse gases, and sustainable land use. He works with clients on carbon accounting, emission target setting, carbon offsets, nature-based solutions, and other climate change related topics.

In his recent work at the firm, Andreas assessed the global potential and cost structure of greenhouse gas emission offsets from nature-based solutions including forestry, agriculture, and wetlands for a large institutional investor; reviewed carbon credit generation requirements and certification methodologies under Verra VCS and Gold Standard for a large Asian holding company; and analyzed Scope 1-3 emissions for a European power utility.

As part of his PhD, Andreas researched management and governance topics in sustainable forestry.
