Karsten Schott is a member of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology Advantage practice, and a specialist in enterprise resource management systems (ERM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) based business transformation, information and data management, and enterprise architecture. He works with senior business and IT executives from leading global enterprises in the consumer goods, manufacturing, high-tech, and life sciences industries.

Karsten has technology expertise in defining enterprise application strategies and architecture, and in driving their realization. His functional expertise includes finance, manufacturing, R&D, engineering, sales support, sourcing, and supply chain optimization. He is currently concentrating on maximizing business value from next-generation ERP programs by running them as combined business and IT transformations.

Before joining the firm, Karsten worked as an IT-strategy consultant for the media group Bertelsmann in Germany and New York. He also served as Director of Information System Strategy for the publishing house Bantam Doubleday Dell.
