Marcin Lech is a core member of the Industrial Goods, Energy, and Consumer practice areas at Boston Consulting Group. Since joining BCG in 2011, he has worked on many strategic and operational projects. He has been based in the London, Sydney, Johannesburg, Singapore, and Warsaw offices. 

Marcin’s work focuses on managing teams to deliver change and impact on the topics of strategy (growth), large-scale transformations (turnarounds, PMIs, digital transformations), and operations (operational efficiency); always ensuring that value is created for the client. 

Marcin has led several growth strategy projects, including market expansions, acquisitions, and large capex investments in the industrial goods sector; and he has led or conducted more than ten projects for leading global and regional mining companies, with a focus on business transformation and turnaround, asset reviews, operations, and innovation. 

Marcin has also worked on over half a dozen major projects in the energy sector, including the implementation of a major transformation program at a large CEE energy utility that improved EBITDA by over 20%. 

Before joining BCG, Marcin worked for the CEE Strategy Department at Avon Cosmetics where he supervised strategy implementation across the region (working in Moscow and Warsaw). Marcin speaks fluent English and Polish, in addition to Russian.
