Mathieu Menegaux is a managing director of BrightHouse, a Boston Consulting Group company. BrightHouse is a global creative consultancy that pioneered the practice of helping organizations uncover their timeless purpose to grow their people, profits, and social impact. He was previously a senior partner at BCG, and a core member of BCG’s Industrial Goods and Energy practices until June 2019 when he transitioned to join the BrightHouse team and start their Paris office dedicated to purpose.

Since joining BCG in 2001, Mathieu has worked with clients in a wide range of sectors to create and launch performance-improvement programs, including the definition of targets, identification of levers, structure of the plan, and set-up of the project management office. He has helped numerous companies develop growth strategies, redesign their organizations, and optimize support functions. He was the people chair of the Paris office from 2014 to 2018.

In the energy industry, Mathieu has led numerous efforts to implement worldwide sales-force effectiveness programs. He has partnered with utilities to redefine their operational target models, by addressing issues related to call centers, multichannel presence, new offers, and customer satisfaction.

Mathieu also led BCG’s work to develop the Social Entrepreneur of the Year competition in France, teaming with The Schwab Foundation to recognize and support entrepreneurs who are applying their business skills to make a difference in the world. Mathieu is a fiction writer, and his first novel, Je me suis tue, was published in 2015.
