Since joining BCG in 1995, Rohan has worked closely with clients in the consumer goods industry to generate unique insights for transformative impact. His experience covers the full gamut of food and beverage categories and a range of consumer products and services. His topic expertise includes corporate and business unit strategy, Demand Centric Growth™, innovation, marketing, and go-to-market topics.
As BCG's global coleader for the Demand Centric Growth™ topic, he has led efforts in a broad range of industries beyond consumer products, including retailing, banking, insurance, sports, and the arts. Having co-created this differentiated consumer-driven approach to driving growth, he has led its expansion and helped several clients to achieve profound insights and results.
Rohan has a decade of experience working across the full sports ecosystem and he leads BCG's sports topic globally. He has engaged across a range of entities in cricket, motorsports, football (multiple codes), and golf. His work has focused on growth strategies with implications on consumer engagement, game structure, salary rules, competitive balance, profit improvements, new venue business case and competitive bid strategies, and schedules.
Rohan brings a global perspective to his work, having studied and worked in Sydney, Mumbai, Cambridge (UK), and Chicago. He has advised clients across five continents—in both developed and emerging markets—on a variety of country-specific and global issues.
Rohan has played professional-level cricket in England and Premier Division field hockey in Sydney.
