Senior Graphic Designer, Atlanta
At BCG, Visionaries navigate complexity with ease. They use their insight and intuition to identify the solutions that will create lasting impact. Johana connects the dots to see the bigger picture.
I have learned at BCG to be curious, explore, and always push myself because we can all do great things. And I have learned to never be afraid, as it is the biggest obstacle for clarity and creativity.
I joined BCG because I was excited about the opportunity to work within multiple industries. Over the past year, I’ve been able to work closely with case teams in many practice areas and exercise critical- and design-thinking skills. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing how instrumental design and creative visual solutions can be to help teams drive the future of business.
Johana holds graphic design and digital media degrees from Viterbo University and a design MA from Savannah College of Art and Design.
BCG has helped me grow professionally. The ability to problem solve and communicate clear ideas is key to design success. At BCG, our daily challenge is to deal with complex content that needs to be visually simplified. Collaboration and teamwork are a core part of success at BCG, and I know I always have the unconditional support of my peers. We never work in silos but as a true team.
My goal is to be a great designer. BCG has exposed me to many industries, complex content, and amazing subject matter. The challenge to not only understand the content but work to find simplicity has helped refine my design skills and improve my methodology. Whether working on a small project or a large proposal, at BCG I know I can always push my creative boundaries and be as creative as I want to be. I am constantly asking myself how I can make my next project even better!
Being a mentor is to be a guide. It is the ability to share successes, failures, methodologies, techniques, experiences, and knowledge. A mentor listens well, has the aptitude to develop and inspire others, thrives on new ideas, and truly understands that we are all unique. And perhaps most important, a mentor sees big potential in the little details.
