Overcoming the AI Paradox

Register Interest

We are delighted to introduce #FreshFromTheLabs, an exciting new talk series designed to bring together academics, data scientists and business leaders to discuss the latest scientific advances in, and real-world use cases of, data science.

Our first event is being held on 7 February 2019 and will focus on how we can overcome the AI Paradox: that it is deceptively easy to launch successful AI pilots but fiendishly hard to move toward AI@scale.

Andrea Gallego, CTO of BCG GAMMA our data science division, and our academic partners from Imperial College London and Inria will discuss:

  • Technical solutions to the development and rapid deployment of AI@scale
  • Using deep learning when annotated data is scarce
  • Making facility location decisions based on big data and machine learning
  • An airline industry use case showing how machine learning and optimisation can facilitate predicting delays, optimise flight schedules and impact the top and bottom line

Please register your interest in attending. Please note: places are limited. Confirmation of your place will be by a formal invitation week commencing 28 January 2019.
