Francois-Xavier is a senior member of the Principal Investment and Private Equity, and Industrial Goods practice areas at Boston Consulting Group, where he has worked since January 2017.

Francois-Xavier focuses on serving investors such as pension, private equity, infrastructure, and sovereign wealth funds, mostly on infrastructure topics. He works with clients to develop investment and growth strategies, evaluate new investment opportunities, restructure and rationalize portfolios, improve performance of portfolio companies, and design operating models as well as governance frameworks.

Francois-Xavier has global experience in infrastructure investing. He was previously Group Vice-President at AP Moller-Maersk, Head of Corporate Strategy and Business Development for the subsidiary focusing on port and inland infrastructure. In this role, he drove a strategy of global growth leading several M&A transactions and PPP negotiations with governments in OECD jurisdictions as well as in Africa, South America, Russia, India, China, and other Asian countries.

Before joining Maersk in 2008, Francois-Xavier worked with McKinsey and Company in China and in Europe. He led commercial diligence projects (both on the buy- and sell-side) for private equity and principal investors in a wide range of industrial sectors, as well as growth strategy, M&A, and post-merger integration assignments for industrial multinational companies.
