Working as an intern at BCG is more than an opportunity to bolster your résumé. It also offers the potential to launch a career at BCG, as a vast majority of our interns receive offers for full-time positions.
As a BCG intern, you’ll be able to apply what you’ve learned at school and through personal experience to a real client challenge. You’ll work with and be mentored by BCG consultants, and you’ll take responsibility for specific components of a client project. As a case team member, you’ll gain a 360-degree perspective on life as a BCG consultant—from working on client projects to socializing with colleagues.
The BCG London internship program is seven to eight weeks long taking place from June to August. Occasionally, some interns travel—including abroad—but return to the office at the end of each week for special events and social activities. This helps them meet other interns, get to know BCG consultants, and have some fun along the way.
If you are selected for our program, we’ll work with you to understand your interests and assign you to a case that aligns with your personal and professional goals. Past interns have helped solve a range of interesting challenges, from uncovering why a U.S. technology company was losing market share in Europe to determining the best strategy for a luxury-goods brand to enter China.

By asking questions we might not ask, interns challenge the very core of our assumptions. These questions are sure to lead us to more balanced, considered solutions.
An internship at BCG is all about unparalleled experiences, learning, and friendships.
Orientation and training sessions aimed at providing additional insight into the consulting profession are offered throughout your internship, giving you a complete view of what it would be like to work as a BCG consultant after you graduate.
