Kilian Berz is a leader of the Financial Institutions, Insurance, and People & Organization practices at The Boston Consulting Group. He leads large client relationships on behalf of BCG. Since joining BCG in 1995, Kilian has advised clients across many sectors including financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, and health care. He is currently working on projects in Canada, the U.S., Europe, and Asia on a range of business issues, including portfolio strategy, growth, and organizational design. He led BCG's Canadian office from 2009 to 2015. Kilian has been appointed Special Advisor to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, with a focus on attracting global companies and investors.
Kilian has led global research on organizational change and innovation. From its inception, he has been a member of the Toronto City Summit Alliance and has continued BCG’s tradition of bringing stakeholders from public, private, and nonprofit organizations together to solve complex societal issues. He is a Board Member of Civic Action and Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Leap Centre for Social Impact. From 2001 to 2015, he chaired the Board of Epple Druckfarben, a German manufacturer.
