Since joining The Boston Consulting Group in 2002, Andy Veitch has focused on the consumer and retail industries. He is a core member of the firm’s Consumer; Marketing, Sales & Pricing; and Strategy practices. Andy has also led many client projects in the banking and insurance sectors.

Andy’s work has covered diverse categories across the food and beverages, beer, wine, spirits, home care, personal care, convenience retailing, DIY, auto parts, sporting goods, apparel, and footwear categories. He has helped clients to transform their businesses with category growth and commercial strategies, marketing, pricing, range, format and new channel development, operating model design, and business simplification including zero-based budgeting. He has built deep expertise in marketing efficiency and leads BCG work in the topic.

Andy’s recent work has taken him across continents, and the bulk of his work is in Europe, supporting global clients as they build and embed capabilities around the world. Andy was the BCG Ambassador in Santiago in 2008 and was seconded to Technoserve Tanzania in 2005.
