Michelle Stohlmeyer Russell

Senior Partner & Managing Director


Michelle Stohlmeyer Russell is a core member of the People & Organization practice area at The Boston Consulting Group. She joined BCG in 2001. Michelle previously led BCG’s Health Care practice for the Midwest and Canada, and is a member of the firm’s Health Care Practice Scientist Network (HCPA).  Michelle is heavily involved in the Women@BCG program for North America and served as its lead from 2013 to 2017.

In 2016, Michelle was named BCG's Working Mother of the Year by Working Mother magazine. Much of her work is focused on academic medical centers, hospital systems, and payers. She has deep client experience in change management and strategy.

Prior to joining BCG, Michelle was a researcher at Stanford University.
