Senior Presentation Designer, Atlanta
At BCG, Challengers go against expected thinking and inspire their teams to be truly innovative. Erin has the courage to take action.
Right from the start, I was able to help design presentations for consultants, providing new strategies for Fortune 500 companies.
My background is in graphic design and illustration. Working at BCG in visual services has exposed me to a whole new level of design. At BCG, I am not just designing materials to look great but to look great and serve a real, palpable purpose for our teams and clients.
BCG is a company that truly supports its employees and their professional journeys. Before I came to BCG, I was laid off from my previous job only four weeks after my son was born. It was a less-than-ideal situation, to say the least. It has been incredible to step into a new work environment that not only supports a thriving design department but also takes diversity, work-life balance, and working caregivers seriously.
Erin holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Georgia, with a concentration in graphic design and illustration. She is married and has a two-year-old son.
Stay the course! It’s an involved interview process, but one that ensures that you’re the right person for the team in more ways than one. It’s not just about showing off your portfolio but also showcasing your interpersonal skills that will make you a good fit for the team.
I love working on presentations that take a different approach to the standard slide. I love working on illustrations to create a totally custom piece. One of my favorite illustrations I created recently was an isometric forest and city with accompanying infographics.
Takarazuka, Japan, where my husband and I spent our first year of marriage teaching English as a second language to Japanese students. We had an amazing experience there and we plan on going back to visit for our tenth anniversary in 2020. I also love Athens, Georgia, where I went to school and met some of my best friends and studied graphic design.
