The Impact of BCG’s Women

Women at BCG are creating a lasting impact across the firm, with our clients, and in the wider world.

We have six female Executive Committee members, eight practice area leaders and regional practice area leaders, and eight office and system leads. More than 15 BCG women have been selected to speak at our TED@BCG events. Almost 20 female BCG employees and alumni have been engaged in the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers community, and 6 BCG and alumni women have been selected to join the WEF’s Young Global Leaders community.

BCG partners with many of the world’s most important organizations to support and promote the advancement of women across the globe.

  • TEDWomen: As part of BCG’s partnership with TED, we sponsor the annual TEDWomen conference. TEDWomen brings together a global community of women and men interested in exploring how change begins: with innovative thinkers who catalyze ideas toward action.
  • Catalyst: BCG is a research partner of Catalyst, a leading nonprofit organization with a mission to accelerate progress for women through workplace inclusion.
  • Forté Foundation: The Forté Foundation is a community of leading companies and business schools aimed at helping businesswomen find satisfying, successful careers. BCG is a corporate sponsor of the foundation.
  • World Economic Forum: As part of BCG’s strategic partnership with the World Economic Forum, we are engaged in WEF’s system initiative on Shaping the Future of Education, Gender and Work. President and CEO Rich Lesser sits on the stewardship board, and various other partners and teams are involved in initiatives within this system. J Puckett currently sits on the Global Future Council on Education, Gender and Work and contributed to the report Accelerating Gender Parity in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
