Michael Albert joined Boston Consulting Group in 2015. He is currently an Ambassador to the BCG Henderson Institute in Washington, DC. In that role, Michael is focusing on developing strategic perspectives on the topic of the Internet of Things and how companies can generate new revenues and build competitive advantage with their IoT data by developing new data-driven products and services.

In his recent client work, Michael built a data platform and developed supporting digital products for a major transportation and logistics provider; developed a renewable energy growth strategy for a major regulated electric utility company; supported multiple due diligence efforts for acquisition targets in commercial and industrial solar; and performed a comprehensive review of corporate functions at an electricity generator and retailer.

Before joining the firm, Michael served as an intelligence officer in the United States Air Force and the National Security Agency (NSA).
