Vadim Gouterman leads BCG Transform at Boston Consulting Group in Canada. BCG Transform is the firm’s special unit that helps organizations transform, change their trajectories, and turn upside potential into radical performance gains. He is also a core member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice.

Since joining BCG in 2008, Vadim has led transformations across multiple industries including telecommunications, media, technology, and leasing. He has also helped numerous clients redesign their go-to-market approach, develop and implement innovation strategies, accelerate organic and M&A-driven growth, and improve operational performance.

Vadim has acquired particularly deep expertise in the telecommunications space, including wireless and wireline networks, R&D, organization design, optimization of capital expenditures, vendor and buyer strategic due diligence, and service pricing.

Prior to joining BCG, Vadim spent ten years working in the telecom equipment and semiconductor sectors, including helping to build two startups. He holds five US patents in the fields of semiconductors and automation.
