To be successful at BCG, you will have to champion the cause of your customer, and you will have to relentlessly think and question everything you build. You will need to ask yourself if what you are building really helps solve your customer’s problem in a manner that is delightful and adds value to them.
BCG has really helped me grow as an entrepreneur by providing me opportunities to test new ideas. The consistent backing I have gotten from my leadership, their guidance and support, have been a major part of my growth. Along the way I have had an opportunity to work with some fantastic people who are equally passionate about the work they do and how to improve the lives of others. I would not have it any other way.
Amit comes from a background of customer service and has been in management consulting for 12 years. Amit holds an MBA degree with a specialization in marketing and a minor in finance.
Every BCGer at heart is extremely empathetic. They understand what the clients and colleagues want and that shapes their behavior in and around people, to help work in a manner which is cohesive and inclusive.
BCG is very kind in this respect. We do not have much restrictions on timing, and since I enjoy my work I do not mind stretching every now and then when required.
People’s perspectives. I enjoy hearing stories people tell and the reasons why they do what they do. I can be interested in the most mundane details someone is talking about as long as they are passionate about them and have a point of view.
I play a lot of video games when I am free or watch documentaries on YouTube.
My mentors are the pillars on which I have built my career. I have had some of the best mentors throughout my journey in BCG. Every single one of them has guided and inspired me to become better every day.
