Ji Hoon Kim is a member of Boston Consulting Group’s Energy and Strategy practices, as well as a member of BCG’s Health Care Scientist Network.

Since joining BCG in 2007, Ji Hoon has worked extensively in the energy sector, helping clients address issues such as the impact of shale disruption and changing supply and demand dynamics, as well as assessing potential joint ventures and petrochemical business opportunities in Southeast Asia. His client work has covered gas, power generation, and commodity trading.

Ji Hoon also has deep experience in the industrial goods sector, having helped a wide range of companies conduct market studies and forecasts, analyze macroeconomic trends, and develop turnaround strategies. He has also worked with numerous clients in biopharma, private equity, metals and mining, chemicals, and process industries.

Prior to joining BCG, Ji Hoon worked as a graduate research assistant at the University of Michigan, where he conducted innovative research on single-molecule biophysics and authored four journal articles on the topic.
