Saibal Chakraborty leads Boston Consulting Group’s Technology Advantage practice in India and drives the firm’s digital transformation agenda for public and private sector clients in India. He is also a core member of the firm's Public Sector, and Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) industry practices.

Saibal has advised private and public sector organizations for over 20 years across Europe, the US, Asia, and Africa. He focuses on digital transformations and building next-generation technology capabilities for his clients. He has led multiple engagements in strategy and operating model transformation, digital and IT strategy, IT sourcing, IT cost optimization, technology/next-generation digital organization design, shared services transformations, and post-merger integrations. He has end-to-end experience in large scale digital transformations and digital product development from strategy and concept design to implementation, enablement, and business value realization. He has also led some of the firm’s most marquee digital programs in India such as the government e-marketplace and IT sector investment promotion programs for countries in Southeast Asia.

Prior to joining BCG, Saibal spent ten years at Booz & Company (formerly Booz Allen Hamilton) serving the technology agenda of large financial services, energy, and public sector clients, mostly in Europe. Prior to Booz & Company, Saibal worked as a software engineer and a technology architect at IBM, Lockheed Martin, and e-commerce startups—mostly in the US.
