Manuel Luiz joined Boston Consulting Group in 2001 as an associate in the Lisbon office. He transferred to Latin America at the end of 2009. Before arriving in Brazil, Manuel worked almost two years in the firm’s Southern Cone system out of Santiago, Chile.

Manuel’s client work at BCG has included a wide range of topics and industries. He is a core member of the firm’s Energy and People & Organization practice areas. Manuel has worked extensively in cost optimization and efficiency, human resources, change management, and organizational restructuring, and is an expert in Smart Simplicity.

Manuel has contributed to several BCG publications from the People & Organization practice. He is a native Portuguese speaker who is also fluent in English and Spanish.
