Kaz Uchida previously served as a senior advisor at The Boston Consulting Group and is a former member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice area. He was named a Top 25 Consultant by Consulting magazine in 2006.
Kaz has worked extensively with companies in the high-tech, telecommunications, and automotive industries. His experience includes marketing strategy, new business development, and globalization strategies. He was head of BCG Japan from June 2000 to December 2004.
Kaz has held the position of professor at the Faculty of Commerce, Waseda University, since April 2006 and has also been teaching strategy and leadership at Waseda Business School since April 2007.
Before joining BCG in 1985, he worked for Japan Airlines for 11 years in various roles, including long-term marketing strategy at the company's Tokyo head office, passenger sales and planning in Osaka, and passenger sales in Melbourne.
