Mark Dynes is a core member of the Financial Institutions and Technology Advantage/Digital Accelerator practices at Boston Consulting Group. He is the global co-head of Digital Delivery and Challenger Banking, with expertise in digital transformation of existing banks and building new digital challenger banks. Mark has recently led engagements on the build of a new digital-only challenger bank, the build of a new digital-first bank in a joint venture between a retailer and a bank, and the development of a new payments channel for a corporate bank. He also created the BCG Digital Accelerator proposition, InQbate.

Mark’s core area of expertise is retail banking in the functional areas of digital strategy, challenger banking, and digital transformation. He has also worked on a wide range of strategic, distribution, and operational projects for retail banks around the globe. He joined BCG in February 2020, bringing both hands-on industry expertise (having previously worked for NatWest Group) as well as extensive consulting knowledge (having previously led the Strategy and Customer practice at EY and been a part of the FS UK Leadership team at Oliver Wyman). He also has deep knowledge and understanding of digital topics including digital strategy, digital portfolio assessment, and front-to-back digitization of existing businesses.
