Katie Hill is a member of Boston Consulting Group's Green Ventures team, and a core part of the firm's Social Impact practice. She joined BCG in October 2021, bringing deep global expertise in climate and energy, having spent over 15 years as an investor and operator in high-impact climate and technology companies. Katie specializes in decarbonization strategy and implementation for global companies; sustainable and impact investing (from large corporate green bonds down to venture equity transactions); renewable energy economics, transactions, and systems-level strategies; and digital economy and infrastructure.

Prior to joining BCG, Katie launched and led Apple’s Clean Energy Program to decarbonize Apple’s product manufacturing worldwide. Most recently, Katie was the Global Director for Business Operations at Liquid Intelligent Technologies (formerly Liquid Telecom), a pan-Africa digital infrastructure company. She started her career as a venture investor in emerging markets companies, where she launched the energy investing portfolio and made some of the world's first investments in off-grid energy companies. She has spent over nine years living and working in South Asia and East Africa. Katie is a TED Fellow and World Economic Forum "Young Global Leader.”
