Thomas Frost is a member of Boston Consulting Group’s Industrial Goods and Operations practices and an expert in lean advantage and manufacturing.

Since joining BCG in 2008, Thomas has worked extensively with clients in lean, total productive maintenance, and production systems. His experience includes developing tailor-made lean-production systems and implementing lean administrations for companies in a variety of industries.

Thomas has also worked with numerous organizations on optimizing their lean-manufacturing processes, with a focus on increasing labor efficiency, machine efficiency, and material flow. He has led several lean-manufacturing improvements in consumer goods, white goods, chemicals, food, and other industries. He also helped develop a lean management system for an international utility company.

Before joining BCG, Thomas worked for Procter & Gamble as a project manager in operations, strategy, and improvement. At P&G he was involved in a worldwide implementation of production systems based on lean management and total productive maintenance, and he led a factory reorganization built on lean management. He previously worked at the Production Technology Center Berlin as a research engineer.
