Since joining The Boston Consulting Group in 1992, Byung Nam Rhee has played a critical role as a founding member of the firm’s Korea operation. He is a core member of BCG’s Industrial Goods, Consumer, and Operations practices, and he leads BCG's work in engineered products and infrastructure in Asia-Pacific.
Byung Nam has extensive experience working with leading Korean conglomerates. He has developed long-term vision, supported M&A, built and helped implement globalization strategies for large Korean companies, and established long-term strategy and supported M&A for a top Korean construction company and a Korean steel company. He has also worked with automakers and global industrial-goods companies.
Before joining BCG, Byung Nam worked for Korea Merchant Banking and Procter & Gamble. In June 2004, he was chosen as one of Asia’s next generation of leaders at the World Economic Forum at Davos.
