Shaping the future isn't a new undertaking for BCG Consultant Adam Grodecki. Before joining BCG Adam cofounded Student Hubs, a UK charity that engages a network of over 25,000 university students across the UK in social and environmental issues. He also cofounded Emerge, a joint venture with Saïd Business School to bring together university students and young professionals to generate new ideas for creating a more sustainable world.
In 2012, Adam was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Global Shaper and in 2013 he was appointed curator of the Global Shapers in London. Adam was subsequently invited to attend and speak at the WEF Annual Meeting at Davos in 2014.
Adam, with the support of BCG's London office and the Global Shapers, is currently leading the development of a significant new project—the Forward Institute. This organization, supported by a coalition of some of the largest institutions in the UK, is being launched to help the next generation of leaders explore responsible leadership and develop the skills to meet the challenges facing major organizations and society in the 21st century.
"I believe that the world must move to a more value-based and sustainable form of capitalism. I believe just as strongly in the potential of young people to drive that change."
Adam Grodecki is a consultant at BCG in London.
