Senior Executive Assistant & Administrative Services Coordinator, Toronto
At BCG, Storytellers synthesize complex information and ideas. They believe in bringing the whole team together to get a broader perspective. Roxanne seeks a new perspective.
You'll be successful at BCG if you take the initiative and let yourself be successful. Everyone is already on your side and cheering you to the finish line.
When I first joined BCG, I knew I had finally found a company that invested in people—a firm large enough to allow me to grow and that would offer interesting opportunities, but intimate enough to take the time to get to know me as an individual and my unique contributions.
BCG has introduced me to some of the best people I will ever have the pleasure of knowing in my lifetime. People at BCG are brilliant, enlightened, and supportive. They are truly concerned about your well-being, success, and happiness. I discovered this the first day I joined BCG and am still convinced of it today.
Roxanne has an extensive career as an administrative professional in consulting industry. She also has artistic hobbies, which she enjoys outside of BCG.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The best part of my job is interacting with my peer group. I have the privilege of working with the most talented and truly dedicated executive assistant team. Right across the board, it doesn't matter what office you deal with in the BCG system, you will find the same high-caliber expertise in each EA you interact with. Their professionalism and ownership always makes it a great experience. Everyone is exceptionally respectful and helpful as we are all working toward the same results and goals.
Q: Why did you choose to work at BCG?
A: I knew someone who worked at BCG for a few years before I had the privilege of joining. This person only had great things to say about the leadership, people, work, benefits, and general day-to-day experience at BCG. I thought it sounded too good to be true. Then I read some very positive media coverage about the successes, work-life balance and overall benefits of working at BCG. How could I go wrong?
Q: What inspires you about BCG?
A: Nothing is impossible. Almost everyone at BCG has this mindset. When I come against some roadblocks that make a positive outcome looks dismal, I tell myself, "nothing is impossible." This always helps me find that win-win solution.
