Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at BCG: Our US Report

BCG must embrace an inclusive, truly equitable workplace that fosters diverse perspectives if we want to accelerate innovation, strengthen resilience, and enable the firm’s purpose to unlock the potential of those who advance the world.

BCG’s inaugural diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) report is an effort to openly and transparently share a snapshot of the progress we’ve made—where we are at this point in the journey and where we’ve committed to go. Our leaders, staff, and business partners are energized to make a real and sustained difference in DEI at BCG.

We recognize the corporate environment in which we play a critical role. Our diversity, equity, and inclusion report is a statement of our public commitment to transparency, an invitation for continued dialogue, and the standard by which we will be held accountable as our DEI journey continues.

BCG will not waver in continuing to create an environment in which colleagues of all backgrounds are accepted and celebrated. It will take all of us at BCG—diverse teams drive innovation and better results for our clients, and inclusive leaders are critical to unlocking the potential of our diverse teams.”

Diversity Data

At BCG, data is at the core of what we do, from the services we offer to the way we design our DEI efforts—and those of our clients. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made in areas such as gender equality, particularly among our Black/African American and Hispanic/Latinx talent.

Building Our DEI Efforts on Three Pillars

The time to act is now. At BCG, we believe in bold solutions and are committed to unwavering action. We are on a journey to create an inclusive environment both within the firm and beyond, as we work with external partners to tackle these issues and influence change.

While this year’s report focuses on racial equity, our DEI work supports individuals and communities across a broad range of cultures and identities. The strategy spans three pillars.
