Central Asia, broadly defined as the region east of the Caspian Sea incorporating Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan, has the potential to be an attractive investment destination. Central Asia remains overlooked for now, compared to other developing economies. Its FDI potential is estimated at $170 billion, including $40-70 billion in non-extractive industries, over the next 10 years.
