Andreas Alsén leads The Boston Consulting Group’s Operations practice in the Nordic region and is a core member of the firm’s Industrial Goods practice. He previously led BCG’s procurement engagements in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Since joining BCG in 2000, Andreas has worked extensively on strategy, operations, and transformation projects in industrial companies, covering the construction, engineered-equipment, building materials, and industrial services sectors.

Andreas has also worked functionally within procurement, supply chain, and sales excellence topics. In his role as topic lead for EMEA procurement, he has supported more than 40 companies across industries on procurement-related issues, including organization and governance, process optimization, launch of new procurement functions, indirect spending, and coordination in procurement of large projects.

Andreas is an integral part of the firm's Operations Center in the Nordics, one of ten global operations centers that serve as hubs for comprehensive operations support and offer tailored, fully integrated solutions to optimize operations for long-term success.
