Jim Brennan joined The Boston Consulting Group in 2014. He is a core member of the firm’s Consumer, and Principal Investors and Private Equity practices.

He has extensive experience in revenue management, go-to-market, and due diligence. Jim has also led multiple large-scale transformation efforts for leading global consumer companies. Most recently, Jim has focused on the future of the CPG industry, and implications for its leading companies.

Jim’s client work includes leading a global revenue management transformation for a snack company, creating an impulse route-to-market program for a global consumer company, and leading the post-merger management support of integrations in both personal care and consumer health care. Jim has led many due diligence efforts across consumer segments including consumer electronics, personal care, vitamins and minerals, specialty retail, food, and marketing services.

Jim also supports the Grocery Manufacturers Association and other leading industry associations. He also sits on the board of directors of both Enactus and the American Academy in Rome. Prior to joining BCG, Jim was a partner at McKinsey & Company and a senior advisor to The Carlyle Group.
