  • If you want to start before July 2021, please apply ASAP via our full-time application. We are reviewing applications on a rolling basis.

Application Process

Our 2021 Bridge to BCG application has three components – an online application that must be submitted by Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 11:59 PM ET, as well as two online activities that must be completed by the corresponding dates outlined below. Candidates can expect to hear about the status of their application by early May.

The application asks for the following components:

  • Online application form
  • Office preferences for a 2022 full-time position
  • 1-page business style resume
  • Optional cover letter

As part of your application, you will have to complete two additional online activities. These activities will help us get a more comprehensive view of you as a candidate. Failure to complete these online activities within the allocated timeframe will result in an incomplete application.

  • Pymetrics (20-25 minutes): You will receive an email inviting you to play the pymetrics games after you submit your application. These 12 neuroscience-based games provide insight into your cognitive and emotional attributes and your potential for success at BCG. The games take about 25 minutes to play. You will have 48 hours to play them after receiving the invitation. For more information on pymetrics, please click here.
  • One-way video interview (~10 minutes): All Bridge to BCG applicants are asked to complete a one-way video interview. This interview will consist of three questions to which you will provide brief, recorded responses, to help us get to know you beyond your written application. For more information, please click here. You will receive the prompt to complete your video interview by Thursday, April 1. The video interview must be completed by Monday, April 5 at 12:00pm ET.

FAQs about the Bridge to BCG Program

HOW SHOULD I SELECT MY OFFICE PREFERENCES FOR BRIDGE TO BCG?

We ask that you select the BCG offices located where you wish to live and work full-time. If accepted into Bridge to BCG, we will pair you with other participants interested in the same offices/regions during your simulated case team experience. For this reason, we ask that you not change your office preferences after applying to Bridge to BCG, though we will consider personal extenuating circumstances on an as needed basis.

IS THERE AN INTERVIEW FOR THE BRIDGE TO BCG WORKSHOP?

Yes, but it is not a case interview! As part of the Bridge to BCG application you are asked to complete a one-way video interview. At BCG, we're interested in getting to know you beyond your resume and hope to understand why you're interested in a consulting career.

WHAT SHOULD I HIGHLIGHT ON MY RESUME WHEN APPLYING FOR BRIDGE TO BCG?

BCG looks for ADC candidates who have illustrated a history of achievement and leadership inside and outside the classroom, are stellar communicators, and are passionate about problem solving. Candidates should not only highlight their academic qualifications but also the ways in which they've begun to look beyond academia for experience.

I HAVE A CONFLICT DURING THE BRIDGE TO BCG DATES. SHOULD I STILL APPLY?

We encourage you to still apply to the Bridge to BCG program even if you have a conflict during the dates of the workshop. If you are selected to participate, we can discuss alternative options as needed.

IF I AM NOT ACCEPTED TO BRIDGE TO BCG, CAN I APPLY FOR A FULL-TIME JOB?

Absolutely! If you are not invited to Bridge, we still encourage you to reapply in the summer for a full-time position. Your Bridge application will not hinder your chances of getting an invite to interview for full-time work.

I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR BRIDGE TO BCG. ARE THERE OTHER OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE?

Yes! BCG has a wide variety of hiring needs. Visit our careers website to learn more about our open roles and recruiting processes.
